Boys will be Boys!

My Beautiful cousin Alissa has two precious boys that do not love  having their pictures taken... I was so thankful that they let me take pictures of their play day in the park!

Lauren and I have been friends since high school and I have appreciated her friendship over the years.... What a wonderful addition her husband DJ is to her life, and I loved getting to photograph them in Washington Park. I love you guys!

I use to work with Christy and was honored when she contacted me to do a family shoot! We met at Laurelhurst Park on a beautiful fall evening to snap some shots before the light escaped us. Thanks Phillips family!

My wonderful co-worker at the time, Beth, started it all,

 "Heather, how much do you charge for family pictures?" 

Me, having never thought I could actually turn my hobby into "something more,"

"um, uh... I'll have to get back to you on that"

Well, that (and the following shoot) was more than a year and a half ago, and after two continent moves and a whole lot of learning, I have to say thank you, thank you, THANK YOU Dixon family for being my first clients!!
